Heat Transfers
Specialty printed paper that adheres to garments
Remember when your mom bought those printable iron-on sheets at the grocery store to make you a shirt for your tenth birthday? Yeah, it's like that - but like 10,000 times not as crappy.
How does it work?
Heat Transfer paper is used in textiles and arts and crafts projects and you've more than likely seen its handiwork at every craft market that you've ever been to. Transfer paper is a thin piece of paper coated with wax and pigment. Often, an ink-jet or other printer is used to print the image on the transfer paper. A heat press can transfer the image onto clothing, canvas, or another surface. This method feels a little bit stiffer and has a heavier feel than the other methods have. Heat Transfers should last through many, many washes if it's applied correctly and maintained. We do recommend that you turn the custom shirt inside out before washing and drying.
